1. Each team should consist of 3 members, no external assistance will be allowed during the contest.

2. All group members are required to be Special Event Planning students.

3. It is a backdrop decor contest. The purpose of the backdrops is to create a  perfect setting to take pictures. All backdrops will be judged on the basis of creativity, and interpretation of the theme.

4. The theme for the contest is "Spring is Here" to celebrate the start of the spring season. The theme must be incorporated into the design, teams are welcome to display their own interpretation of the theme.

5. Each team will be provided with a set of pipes and drapes. All other decoration material is to be brought by the contestants. The materials used in decoration are completely up to the contestant’s choice, all floral paper, balloons, etc are allowed and welcomed. The venue is completely smoke-free and no candles or fire hazardous products are allowed.

6. The room will be open to the public to enjoy the backdrops and take pictures. The winning backdrops will be announced at the event.
